"Dr. Vanessa Fountain is the consummate performer and teacher.
She’s expressive and precise in her performances, and patient in her role as teacher." Ken Glaser, producer and
videographer.

"As my professor I feel that you have done a great job in guiding me through my musical journey. Your lectures are
very thorough, easy to understand, and enjoyable to listen to. If any questions have ever arisen, you are always very
accessible and prompt in your response. I can say that there really is not much more that I could ask of from a
teacher!" Jennifer A., Norco College graduate.
"I am a composer. I wrote a trio for violin, clarinet and piano. I wanted to transcribe the piano part for harp, but didn't know how to notate the music to take advantage of the marvelous sounds a harp can produce. Also, the pedal markings, glissandos, etc. seemed mysterious to me. I wanted there to be no doubt that a harpist could read and play what I wrote. Dr. Fountain was my dream come true! She understood exactly what I wanted and assisted me in transcribing. It was obvious that she is a wealth of information and is able to make it easily understood. We set a timeline and completed the work on time. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Fountain to composers, or any musician, who wants any assistance with harp music." Peggy Falkenstein
